The House of Hades

A freefall out of an airplane with a parachute would be fun, but this was entirely different. I was falling through a hole in the earth with thousands of shards of glass and a giant spider following me. Not only am I trying to grasp on to my girlfriend as we freefall into tartarus, but I’m also trying to avoid the giant boulders raining on us.  As we fall it becomes darker and colder. I try to guide myself through the freefall to dodge another boulder then WHACK. The wind gots knocked out of me and I black out.

I wake up next to a river. There was burning sensation in my arm and my vision is blurred. Frantically I look around for Annabeth and I find her face down in a pile of black sand. I shook her a little trying to wake her up and she does, but she has a black eye. We somehow survived the fall. I don’t know how, but now me and Annabeth are alone in the underworld with all the monsters that wants us dead. Once Annabeth completely gained consciousness she told me that the giant spider that came down with us is probably still alive.

Almost the same exact moment she said that the spider creped out of the shadows with thousands of smaller spiders surroundir to ng her. Luckily there was a black pool of water next to me so I used my power to control it and launch it at the spiders. When the water hit them the spiders started melting, and then I realized the water must have been an acid like liquid. With the spiders dead I rushed back to Annabeth because I knew she had a terrible fear of spiders. When I got to her she just looked at me then pointed toward behind me. I looked back and it turns out we were on the doorstep of the House of Hades. 

Frank Figurative Language

This Polar Bear’s fur was as white as snow.

The polar bears teeth were sharper daggers.

When he got there he heard a squeal then a CRUNCH. Fred had bitten hazel’s throat.

Frank feared fineas because he feared that fineas would find hazel and fight franks friend and feed him to his father.        

The polar bear was invincible

The polar bear was irritated that the seal escaped him.

Fred was preparing his meal.

The polar bear hunted like Achilles.

A polar bear is an alpha predator, a polar bear is a weapon, a polar bear is feared. This particular polar was special though. It wasn’t a predator, it was actually really nice. This Polar Bear’s fur was as white as snow. The Polar Bear’s teeth were as sharper than daggers, but he rarely used them.

Ever since frank was a cub he didn’t like eating the animals.

“Frank! Eat your fish. Your father worked hard hunting that.” His mother would always tell him. Frank’s Brother fineas would always taunt him about not eating his food. but whenever he could frank would sneak the fish back into the water if they were still alive. While Frank was exploring outside he met a leopard seal. Frank startled his new friend at first because he was a polar bear, but Frank quickly re-assured him that he was a friend. So frank introduced himself and the seal introduced herself as hazel.

Frank feared fineas because he feared that fineas would find hazel and fight franks friend and feed him to his father. Franks dad hunted like Achilles. Whenever franks dad wouldn’t kill a seal he would get irritated that the seal escaped him. Franks dad once saw hazel and was determined to eat her. So franks father, Fred set up a few traps. Fred was preparing his meal. Frank new his dad was hunting a seal and he was terrified because he was going to meat hazel at the place where his dad was hunting. So frank charged at his father, trying to defend his friend. When he got there he heard a squeal then a CRUNCH. Fred had bitten hazel’s throat. When frank saw hazel’s lifeless body he became enraged. The polar bear was invincible. Frank then bit into his father’s throat.
